Day 30: The Big Finale!

Well today is the last day. The big final day of funding! I am so thankful for everyone who has donated so far. We already have more backers than any of the other funding campaigns. It is amazing how much support is behind me and the whole crew. We cannot thank you enough!

Today, for the final film story, I want to talk about the premiere of my 3rd feature film, Sundog. It was a night I will never forget. We did the premiere at the BARC Auditorium in Windom. It seats 650 people and over 550 people showed up for the premiere. That is pretty incredible! That night we all sat down with friends, family, and people from all over to watch a movie we had spent over a year working on. It is something I will never be able to explain when you get to watch your hard work in front of over 500 people. Classmates, relatives, co-workers, all there to see a movie I had put so much of time into.

The above picture is one of my favorite pictures of all time. It is the cast and crew lined up on the stage. People who hundreds of hours working on the film. That night we all came together and celebrated. Celebrated the hard and fun times that go along with making a film. There is something so special about film making. It brings people from all walks of life together.

What I learned: Nothing is more collaborative than film making.
