Cottonwood Update #16: The Poster

I am super excited to release the OFFICIAL Cottonwood Movie Poster above. I want to tell you a little bit about the poster.

The artist who created the poster is from Sri Lanka. We discussed how I wanted a poster in the style of nostalgic 80's films like Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and Blade Runner. I also wanted to capture the dark and mysterious mood which is the style of the whole film. The artist did an excellent job putting all of my ideas into an amazing visual that is really eye catching. He really killed it with the style.

We are getting very very close to being done with filming. We are right at the end of the film and now going back to fill in missed scenes. We are hoping to be done within the next two weeks.

I plan on releasing a teaser trailer on September 1st. That will be the 1st official look at the film.
