Cottonwood Update #1: Busy in Pre-Production

Cottonwood Update #1

I sent an email to all of the producers. I just want to say thanks again to everyone who donated to the film and is part of this project. It is such an honor to have so many people behind this project. We have been extremely busy getting ready for filming. Principal Photography starts in June and hopefully we will wrap in late June/ early July.

Right now I am finishing up the script, ordering some equipment, getting locations, and nailing down a solid crew. Some recent updates to the crew include:

-My cousin Isak Hurlen will be the composer for the film. This will be his first time composing music for a film, but not his first time making music. He has been making music for years. Super excited to have him on board! Check out his stuff here: https://soundcloud.com/andreas_music

-Tylan Porath joins the crew as a grip. Tylan has been apart of a lot of Ethan Clerc Shorts. Happy to have him on board.

So things have been going well. I have been really busy working on the movie and am super excited to get back to Windom and get started filming. Stay tuned for more updates!
