Cottonwood Update #18: Final Scenes
I am excited to announce we are right at the very end of filming. We are almost done with the final scenes and than it is off to editing. I could not be more happy with how everything is turning out. The amount of time we spent on production was very different than the previous films and for a good reason. We really spent a lot of time on lighting, audio, and other areas of film production to make sure everything looks and sounds as good as we could get it.
This film features some big scenes with dozens of extras. I think we did 5 or 6 scenes that required dozens of police, EMT, crime scene investigators, and law enforcement extras. These scenes were not only time consuming, but also hectic with the amount of extras. We also had the opportunity to shoot in some actual locations like the hospital and ambulance.
The amount of people that stepped up to help with this film is truly amazing. I will do a big thank you blog within the next week or so thanking everyone who made this production possible.
We have a couple of scenes left, but filming should wrap up within the next week or so. I am very excited to move onto editing where I put all of the pieces together and turn this story into an amazing visual.
Stay tuned for weekly blog posts!
