Last blog I said we were pretty much done with filming. Well after filming the final scenes last night we are now officially done filming Cottonwood. Filming Cottonwood was one of the most fun and challenging things I have ever done. The amount of new stuff I learned while making this movie was unbelievable. I still have a lot left with all of the editing and post-production work, but filming was definitely a learning experience. This film was a lot different than the previous films as we had a lot more to work with from lighting and audio to locations and props. Below are some of the numbers for the film:
-30 days of filming
-61 scenes
-15 Actors
-30 Extras
-$6,100 BUDGET
-50 Crew Members
-1.10 TB of HD Video Footage
-Over 2,000 Individual Video Clips
-4 dead bodies
-1 car crash
-Uncountable amount of dabs from Jeff Lacanne
Cottonwood was one of the best experiences I have had in my film making career. I really got to dive into the details on this film working on all aspects of the production. I learned so much about lighting, audio, directing, and more while working on this project. I cannot wait to release this film and show you all what we have been working on for so long. Stay tuned for weekly updates all the way up until premiere date!
