Cottonwood Update #24: January 6th. The Premiere

I am excited to release the official date for the Cottonwood Film Premiere. January 6th at 7:30 PM at the BARC Auditorium in Windom, Minnesota. The address for the BARC Building is 1012 5th Ave.

Our goal is to sell the place out which is 650 seats. We came pretty close with Sundog selling 550 tickets. I really feel like we can sell the place out for Cottonwood. It would mean so much to me if we did. The community has always pulled together for me and this would be a huge accomplishment for me if we pulled it off. We plan to really go all out with this premiere doing our own concessions, a gift shop with DVD's, posters, and more from previous films, and decorations to go with the theme of the film.

I am still in the process of editing and have started to work with my cousin and composer for the film, Isak Hurlen. We are going back and forth with ideas and trying to really nail down some solid music for this film. I am super excited to have an original score for my film. This has been something I have wanted for a long time and now it is actually happening.

I will continue to keep you updated on the film and more info on the premiere and trailer every week.
