Cottonwood Update #29: Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from the whole Cottonwood crew! Thank you for checking this blog out and HUGE thank you to everyone who has been keeping up with all of these blog posts. I have been posting every week since back in March. For this blog I am going to post some random pictures from the nite of the crime scene in the abandoned house. There are some creepy pictures of blood that fit this Halloween Blog perfectly. Thanks to Kylie Norell for taking these!

Matt, Tylan, and I get situated for a shot outside of the abandoned house. We were able to get a ton of extras for this scene. It really added a lot to the scene. I love shooting crime scenes. There is so much going on and you can really have fun with camera set ups and blocking.

A bloody mess. This location was perfect, but even better with a blood trail running through it.

Above I am pumping up the blood sprayer. We modified a fertilizer pump to create a blood squib device. THE BLOOD SPRAYER..

I know I have been saying this for weeks, but the trailer is coming VERY SOON! Seriously though it is coming very very soon so stay tuned.

I am also continuing to edit the movie and get everything put together for this weekend. I am headed home this weekend to film a scene for the film. I will give you a full update on how that goes for next weeks post! I am excited to go home for the weekend and see everyone. This will be my first time back in Windom since back in September. Stay tuned for weekly updates and much more coming soon!
